Maplewell Hall Christmas Ride

The ride includes the Chesterfield to Staveley part of the Trans Pennine Trail, linking other bridleways and Poolsbrook Country Park.

PLEASE NOTE: Spaces are limited (40) due to restricted parking spaces. Book soon to avoid disappointment. 

RIDE TYPE & DISTANCE: Pleasure Ride 6 or 10 miles. Not Suitable for Lead Rein.

RIDE DETAILS: Welcome to my home! I am very lucky to have a good network of multi-user trails within cycling distance or a short trailer ride, and I hope you enjoy my local routes. This ride includes the Chesterfield to Staveley part of the Trans Pennine Trail, linking other bridleways and Poolsbrook Country Park. Terrain is mostly off-road surfaced paths with soft edges, woodland trails, and some quiet roadwork. Please respect other trail users by passing them at a walk.

START TIMES: Start any time between 9.30 am and 11.30 am.

LOCATION: Stanley Cottage Stables, Dark Lane, Calow, Chesterfield, S44 5UU (left.lovely.honest).

Dark Lane to the venue is single track with few passing places. Please access it from the SOUTH END ONLY off Calow Lane (roses.trying.fairly) to avoid problems with traffic and horses on the route to and from the venue.

FACILITIES: Please note that there are no catering vans, water, or toilets at the venue.

CAMPING & CORRALLING: Camping & Corralling - £5 per horse, £5 per person, per night at venue Saturday night. Please book on the camping listing.

RIDE FULL RESERVATION SYSTEM: When the ride is full, the "book" option is replaced by a screen that allows you to enter your email address and be placed on a standby list.
When a space becomes available, everyone on this list is emailed and the list is cleared down
Then the first person to complete past the payment stage will get the space(s). If you miss this opportunity, you must re-register as the list gets cleared.

This then repeats until either the ride is run or spaces become available. If - and only if - a ride is full, you can cancel after the cut-off date by forwarding your booking confirmation email to enquiries@sportendurance.co.uk with a request to cancel your entry, which will then be credited to your website account.
